Mr. Ahmad Jalal graduated in BSc. Economics from the London School of Economics, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and has an MPA / International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School. Mr. Jalal is currently the CEO of the Aman Foundation, one of Pakistan’s largest private foundation dedicated to sustainable impact within healthcare and education. Due to his spirit of public service, he was awarded Harvard Kennedy School’s Emerging Global Leader Award.
As Managing Director at Abraaj Group, he led investments in Pakistan for the Global Healthcare Fund. He was an Executive Director with Goldman Sachs where he executed investments for the Principal Investments Area. He started his career as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte and worked with global private equity firms.
He is the Founding Director of Pakistan Fast Growth 100, Pakistan’s first ranking of growth enterprises, Advisory Board Member of Professor Michael Porter’s AllWorld Network and Chairman of the Board of Injaz-Pakistan (part of Junior Achievement Worldwide). He was the Opinions Editor of The Harvard Citizen, writer for the Kennedy School Review and member of The International Institute for Strategic Studies.
